Position Overview: A Quantum Reinforcement Learning Intern is needed to develop and implement quantum algorithms for routing problems, contributing to cutting-edge quantum computing research and logistics sector projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the research team to develop quantum reinforcement learning algorithms tailored for routing optimization.
  2. Assist in modelling complex routing environments and defining the states, actions, and rewards.
  3. Implement and test quantum algorithms, comparing their performance against classical methods.
  4. Analyze results and contribute to the refinement of algorithms based on performance metrics.
  5. Participate in team meetings and present findings, insights, and progress on projects.
  6. Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on the latest advancements in quantum computing and reinforcement learning.

Qualifications:

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Basic understanding of quantum computing principles and reinforcement learning concepts.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  4. Familiarity with quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) is a plus.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
